Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

These terms govern your use of PR Wire, a press release distribution service operated by Domain Farm Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales and registered for VAT. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. The service

PR Wire arranges the publication of your press release across a network of 65 established UK regional news titles, through our publishing partner. Placements appear as sponsored content in each site's Must Read or equivalent section. You receive a coverage report listing every live link with a screenshot of each placement.

2. Ordering and payment

3. Editorial review

Everything is subject to editorial review. Every release is reviewed by us and by the publisher before it goes live.

Our publishing partner makes small edits to your story so that it reads as news and meets publication standards, while keeping your key messages. This is a normal part of the process.

Some content will not pass editorial checks. This includes, without limitation, material that is or may be defamatory, false or misleading, unlawful, discriminatory or hateful, adult or offensive, or that makes regulated or unverifiable financial, investment, medical or legal claims. Where possible we will ask you to amend the copy so it can run. The final editorial decision rests with the publisher.

4. Your content and your warranties

You are responsible for the content you submit. By submitting a release and any image you confirm that:

You grant us and our publishing partners the right to edit, format and publish your content for the purpose of delivering the service.

5. Turnaround

Once your copy is approved, publication is normally within about 2 hours and within 24 hours at most, on working days. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England. For weekend publication or a speed job, the £150 rush service applies.

6. Placements and links

Placements are sponsored content. The links to your website are marked as nofollow, so the value is reach, brand visibility and the credibility of appearing on trusted regional news sites, not search engine ranking. We do not guarantee any particular level of traffic, ranking, SEO benefit or reader response. Publishers may edit or remove content at their discretion. Placements normally remain live.

7. Refund guarantee

If we cannot get your article published, you get a full refund.

If, after reasonable editorial amendments, your release cannot be published across the network, we will refund your payment in full, including any rush fee. Once your release has been published, the fee is non refundable. This guarantee does not apply where publication does not happen because you have not supplied the content or approvals we need, or have asked us to stop.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel for a full refund at any time before we submit your release to the publisher. After submission, refunds are governed by the refund guarantee above.

9. Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for the editorial decisions of publishers. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Data protection

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
